H&R Block at 16315 Northern Boulevard # 4, Flushing, Queens, New York.

I went there and it took over 3 HOURS to finish my tax return. Then, we got a letter from the state saying that we owe $611 because our tax preparer made a mistake. We were told that we would only owe $97 by our preparer. I went to H and R Block and they said that they would reimburse me the money but when I got home I got a call from them saying that they can't refund me the money because I didn't buy their peace of mind plan which is $30. So let me get this straight, I have to pay extra money in case THEY make a mistake? That is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard.

Plus when I got home, I reviewed my tax return and realized that there were so many things that they didn't deduct for me. For example, my tax preparation fee. Isn't that one of the most basic things that A TAX PROFESSIONAL should know? It should just be common sense that they automatically deduct that from everyone's tax return that they are preparing.

I will never ever go back here again. It is one of my worst experiences.
