Jour Et Nuit at 2804 Steinway Street, Astoria, Queens, New York.

This place is probably the MOST AMAZING hidden jewel I have ever stumbled upon. Found this place because we were looking for a reasonably priced hookah bar in Astoria with food and drinks too. There are apparently a ton of other hookah bars all on the same street and just before we walked to Jour Et Nuit, we were approached by the pushy bouncer at the place next door (something like fayouz) who promised the world-but that was a mistake. After having one drink at that place we left and came here; immediately we were warmly greeted by the owners (2 sincerely amazing people/brothers) with a free round of shots. We chose our table (pretty comfy couches) and the staff could not have been more awesome/attentive.

We ordered a round of cocktails (VERY strong, and only $10 each), a hookah (passion fruit possibly mixed w something else-smooth and awesome, also CHEAP @only $15 including ice in base etc), and a couple dishes (the Cigare-pretty great) but the real coup de gras was the Couscous Royal, a heaping platter of some of the most flavorful couscous we've ever had, mixed with insanely tender and delicious chicken, lamb and Moroccon sausage.

Besides the food, drinks and hookah all being SUPER on-point, the owners couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming, and they constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we could possibly want-and even offered to substitute anything we ordered if not 100% satisfied-which seemed like a joke to us given how extraordinary everything was.

This place is a MUST. We will be frequenting this place and if you're reading this, you should stop now and just come here ASAP. Google should let me give 10 stars.
