I went to the store with my wife to look at some hiking boots. We found the brand and model that we liked but they didnt have the color she wanted. I asked the if they could order it for us and they said "ok". They took down my contact info and told me they would call. However, they didn't tell me when they were going to call. I gave them the benefit of the doubt so I waited 2 weeks. Nothing. So I called them over the weekend and they said that their main warehouse only opens on the weekday so call back on the weekday so they can check their warehouse. I proceeded by calling them on Monday. The person took down my number to go check and said he was going to call me back. NEVER called me back. I gave them 3 hrs before calling them back. After I called them back, they gave the phone to somebody who spoke better English and they said that they dont have the color that I wanted. At this point I was furious. However, I kept my cool. I didnt ask if they could order it for me, but it sounded like they weren't going to. They wasted so much of our time. They could have just been straightforward and said we don't have the color you want and won't be able to order it for me right from the beginning instead of dragging it on for almost 1 month.

They definitely lost my current and future business. I just went ahead and ordered it through amazon.

Maybe their only saving grace is that English is not their first language. BUT I was aware of this and repeated the instructions/my wishes at least 3x and even tried to convey the message in a different way.

I would not recommend this store. Only reason for the 2 stars is that they carry quite a selection of expensive outdoor brands. For example, Arcteryx. If you wanted to try something on or see what something looks like, this store is better than Paragon sports in Manhattan (for Arcteryx).
